For the first episode of “Soundtracked,” the Wu-Tang Clan co-founder walks us through the songs that represent his life.

Pitchfork is excited to announce the launch of a new video series, “Soundtracked.” In this series, notable artists pick songs that match moments and memories from their lives, creating what would be the soundtrack to their imagined biopics. For each event, the artist goes into detail about how they were feeling at that moment and why the song they chose resonates.

The first episode of “Soundtracked” features producer, composer, rapper, actor, director, and Wu-Tang Clan co-founder RZA. RZA walks us through different milestones in his life, including the meteoric rise of the Wu-Tang Clan, the death of Ol’ Dirty Bastard, his work composing scores for Jim Jarmusch and Quentin Tarantino, and more. RZA’s musical selections include Eric B. & Rakim’s “Paid in Full,” Isaac Hayes’ “Walk on By,” David Bowie’s “Life on Mars,” and many other classic tracks. Watch it below.
